The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between Responsible Entrepreneurship and Value Creation for Grand Challenges with the Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing. Responsible entrepreneurship has been identified as one of the most important ways to overcome these challenges, but the organisation system in which it can bring value creation is not well understood. The study adopts a Stakeholder Theory approach to explore how knowledge sharing is the mechanism to connect responsible entrepreneurship with value creation for grand challenges. Data was collected by using a quantitative research design with a structured questionnaire from 352 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan. The research model which was proposed was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) software developed by Smart-PLS 4. The insights show how positive an entrepreneurial attitude is to the knowledge sharing and value creation learning for a Grand challenge. Furthermore, knowledge sharing is also an enabler of value creation and has a significant mediating effect on the relationship between the responsible entrepreneurship and the value creation of grand challenges. It is concluded from these findings that responsible entrepreneurial practices generate more value to society through the process of creating knowledge through collaboration among the stakeholders. The present study joins the works on responsible entrepreneurship and Stakeholder Theory literature by revealing that knowledge sharing is an important organizational mechanism that facilitates the creation of sustainable societal outcomes from responsible entrepreneurial practices. Furthermore, the results offer practical suggestions to policies, managers and entrepreneurs on how to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders to support efforts and interventions in solving grand societal challenges.
